    Issue: Sick Leave Use
     
    Grievance filed after EE denied 84 hours of paid sick leave after failure to provide required documentation. Union argues parties bound by past practice of how CBA language applied. ER argued EE has burden of proof to prove entitled to paid sick leave by providing evidence from a medical provider, and EE in question was previously put on notice as being monitored for abnormally high sick leave usage.
     
    Grievance Denied ER did not violate applicable contract language when requiring medical documentation to support eligibility for paid sick leave. EE had ample time to provide documentation and failed to communicate.
