Corrections Officer terminated for violation of DOC policies after making a series of sexually explicit, harassing comments to fellow state employees while at a work conference. Union argued disparate treatment with regard to level of discipline imposed.   

Grievance Denied           Discharge upheld. Serious nature of the conduct and lack of understanding of need to refrain from that type of behavior despite receiving training two weeks earlier support termination. Previous lesser disciplines issued had different set of facts to consider.
