    Corrections officer demoted for violations of multiple DOC and state policies. Subsequently terminated when it was found the incident report he submitted as evidence had been falsified, back dated and contained a copied or forged supervisor's signature. 
     
    Grievance  Issue 1. Sustained  Issue 2. Denied    While the initial grievance related to demotion was sustained (citing would have been appropriate to issue a written reprimand), the subsequent policy violations and submitting falsified documents did justify the later decision to terminate.
