    Autism Symposium and Resource Fair returns April 9, 2025

    ​​Join us for the Autism Symposium and Resource Fair, an event hosted by Minnesota state agencies, dedicated to supporting individuals with autism, their families, and professionals through education, connection, and empowerment. This year's event will place a special emphasis on mental health and well-being, highlighting the importance of emotional resilience, self-care, and access to supportive services.

    • ​​Date and Time: April 9, 2025, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    • ​​Location: In-person event to be held at MN Department of Education, 400 NE Stinson Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413.

      • ​Opening remarks from MN Department of Education leadership
      • ​Keynote Presentation: Bridging the Gap: Mental Health and Autism Across the Lifespan
      • ​Keynote Panel: Navigating Systems of Support: A Collaborative Approach to Mental Health and Autism
      • ​Updated autism prevalence data from the Minnesota Autism Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network
      ​​
    • ​Accommodations: American Sign Language (ASL) and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) provided. Use the Autism Contact Form to request other accommodations by Friday, March 28, 2025.

    • ​​To promote coordinated supports, health, education and resiliency for the Minnesota autism community
    • ​​The MN Autism Resource Symposium is an opportunity for the Minnesota Autism Community to:
      • ​​Come together
      • ​​Explore support options
      • ​​Learn from one another
      • ​​Be inspired!

    ​​Audience

    • ​​Youth and adults with autism, parents, caregivers, advocates, lead agencies, educators, health care professionals, providers, employers and others.
    ​

    ​What to Expect

    • ​Keynote Presentations and Panels – Hear from leading experts on the intersection of autism and mental health, including strategies for managing stress and accessing services and supports.
    • ​Breakout Sessions
    • ​Resource Fair – Connect with organizations offering autism services, mental health supports, advocacy groups, and healthcare coverage. Open all day from 8:30 to 4:00.
    • ​Networking Opportunities – Meet parents, self-advocates, educators, and service providers to build a strong, informed, and supportive community.

    • ​11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Resource Fair/ Lunch Break & Networking
    • ​12:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Breakout sessions and resource fair open
    • ​3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Closing Remarks and raffle
