Video remote interpreting (VRI) can offer many benefits, such as being able to get a sign language interpreter when one is needed, privacy and finding a sign language interpreter with unique skills or expertise in a specific topic.
To help people who are deaf and hard of hearing and those responsible for providing accommodations learn more about the benefits of VRI and when it could be a useful tool, we've developed two educational videos

Whether VRI is an effective communication access solution depends on several factors, such as language use and access to technology. To support you in the decision-making process, we've also developed an interactive decision tree.
These videos and other resources are available through the Trainings page of our website.
