Rebecca Schmit joined the Minnesota Tax Court in 2025. During law school, she engaged in extracurricular activities such as Moot Court, Law Journal, and St. Thomas’ Bankruptcy Litigation Clinic. She also worked as a law clerk for Caribou Coffee and volunteered with the Minneapolis Just Deeds Project, removing restrictive covenants from homeowners’ property titles. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys attending yoga classes, reading, and playing with her dog, Moose.
