Minnesota Secure Choice Retirement Program Employers Overview

Employers with 5 or more Minnesota employees who do not offer a retirement plan are required to register for the Minnesota Secure Choice Retirement Program.

Employer Registration Phase Timeline

Employers may enroll or file for exemption from the Program at any time prior to or during their assigned enrollment deadline that is based on total employee count but MUST be in compliance no later than the deadline.
