Listening Sessions with Casey Family Foundation
June and July, 2026
6/15/2026 11:25:16 AM
The child welfare workforce is invited to participate in listening sessions hosted by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), the MAAFPCWDA County Readiness Action Team, and Casey Family Programs. This is an opportunity for frontline child welfare professionals to discuss what they need to feel confident, prepared and supported in putting the Minnesota African American Family Preservation and Child Welfare Disproportionality Act (MAAFPCWDA) into practice.
The listening sessions will focus on practice alignment and local impact for the Act, internal communication, training and state supports, resource capacity and allocation, and cultural competency.
