The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Child Safety and Family Preservation team needs input from child welfare professionals to redesign and update the Minnesota Best Practice Guide for the Co-occurrence of Child Maltreatment and Domestic Violence.

DCYF will hold listening sessions throughout March to center practitioner voices and experiences of working with families who are experiencing domestic violence. This feedback will help shape a practical, realistic guide for child welfare professionals to support assessment, decision-making, and best practice when working with these families.
