Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) maintains a website and tool, Transparency MN and MN Open Checkbook, that catalog budgets and payments made by the State of Minnesota.
The public can search for and display a list of contracts based on fiscal year, vendor/grantee, and state agency. This includes active and past contracts, including grant contract agreements.
Details available include awardee, agency, contract year, and dollar value of the contract.
Executive branch grantmaking agencies are required by Minn. Stat. §16B.98, Subd. 12 and OGM Policy 08-13 to complete a performance evaluation of grantees. When applicable, these evaluations are submitted to the Department of Administration for public posting. Publicly posted grantee performance evaluations can be filtered and reviewed by grantee and granting agency.
