Overview

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) presents Minnesota with an opportunity to continue innovating our workforce development system through enhancing partnerships, strategic planning and service delivery alignment at the state, regional and local level.

State Plan

Minnesota's WIOA Combined State Plan

The Minnesota WIOA State Plan Dashboard provides transparency and accountability toward the two goals in Minnesota's Combined State Plan for WIOA:

  • Reduce educational, skills training and employment disparities based on race, disability, disconnected youth or gender.
  • Build employer-led industry sector partnerships that expand the talent pipeline to be inclusive of gender, race and disability to meet industry demands for a skilled workforce.

Regional/Local Plans

Plans are available for regional workforce development areas and local workforce development areas.
