Minnesota Statute § 214.075 requires that all applicants for licensure must complete a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
The Minnesota Health Licensing Boards have cooperatively established a Criminal Background Check Program to help you efficiently complete this mandatory background check. Please direct any questions you have about the background check process to Criminal Background Check Program staff, and not the Board.
After you have applied for licensure and paid all required fees, you will be emailed an instructional packet for completing the criminal background check from the Criminal Background Check Program. Applicants are responsible for having fingerprints taken and for completing all required CBC paperwork.
