About this Site

Minnesota’s Guide to Assistive Technology was created to help Minnesotans with disabilities and those who serve them better understand assistive technology (AT) and their options for accessing and acquiring AT for use at home, school, work, and in the community. This website is a collaborative effort between the following state agencies:

  • Department of Administration
  • Department of Education
  • Department of Employment and Economic Development
  • Department of Human Services

This site is not an all-inclusive resource but does contain information that can help you start your search for assistive technology services and funding and with planning a strategy for approaching potential funding sources.

If you have questions about services or funding, we recommend that you contact the organizations directly for more information.

Information on this site was provided by the organizations listed. Every effort was made to assure that the information is accurate.
