St. Paul, Minnesota — The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) will hold public meetings in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 10:30am. The meetings will take place at Parkers Prairie City Hall, 102 North Otter Avenue, Parkers Prairie in the council chambers.
The Commission will hold its usual weekly public meeting at which it will consider several regulatory filings by utilities. The specific items to be considered and the staff Briefing Papers providing background information can be found on the Commission’s website at the calendar entry for that day. There will be a brief question and answer period at the close of the meeting in order for those in attendance to ask questions about the role of the Commission in the State of Minnesota.
After a break for lunch, the Commission will hold a public meeting at 12:30pm to discuss the compliance filings, model franchise and ordinance agreements and suggestions for changes or improvements with local officials.
All of these events are open to the public. In the case of lunch, the Commission asks that any members of the public wishing to attend to bring their own lunch, if so desired.
