Public Utilities Commission to Hold Public Meetings in Duluth

St. Paul, Minnesota — The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) will hold a public meeting in Duluth, Minnesota on Thursday, October 18, 2018, starting at 9:30am. The meeting will take place at Duluth City Hall, 411 West First Street, Duluth in the City Council Chambers.

The Commission will hold its usual weekly public meeting at which it will hear oral arguments and consider a regulatory filing by Minnesota Power. The specific item to be considered and the staff Briefing Papers providing background information can be found on the Commission’s website at the calendar entry for that day. There will be introductions and a brief question and answer period at the opening of the meeting in order for those in attendance to ask questions about the role of the Commission in the State of Minnesota.

The Commission will recess for a lunch break at 12:30pm and return to oral arguments and deliberations at 1:30pm.

The event is open to the public. In the case of lunch, the Commission asks that any members of the public wishing to attend to bring their own lunch, if so desired.
