[ST. PAUL, MN] – On Sunday, August 11, Governor Tim Walz visited the Minnesota Vikings Training Camp to watch the team practice heading into the 2019 season. He spoke with Mike Wobschall of Vikings.com about leadership, giving back to the community, and, of course, football. You can watch their full conversation here.
"For all of us who grew up around football, these players are role models... [The Vikings] are busy people, with their families, and still giving back to the community. When people around the country see the Vikings play on Sunday or Monday night, they see the character in these players and it reflects back on the state."
