Office of Public Engagement

The Office of Public Engagement is comprised of two functions: public engagement and constituent services. Together, the office addresses the realities people in Minnesota are facing every day. It identifies resources and leverages connections with state agencies to help people with their questions, ideas, and concerns. The office strives to create meaningful relationships and collaborates with Minnesotans across the state.

Equity and Inclusion

The Office of Public Engagement actively works to remove obstacles and barriers to improve public awareness and involvement in the work of the Walz-Flanagan Administration. The office connects Minnesotans who are affected by decisions made by their government with opportunities to provide advice, feedback, and guidance before decisions are made. It is committed to ensuring that Indigenous, Black, Latine/Latinx, Asian and Pacific Islanders, immigrant and refugees, LGBTQ+ communities, people with disabilities, veterans, rural Minnesotans, and Minnesotans from all walks of life are active participants in government.
