Boards and Commissions
Governor Walz makes between 300 and 500 appointments to over 130 boards, commissions, task forces, and advisory councils each year. Each entity has its own responsibilities; some advise the state on important policy areas and others regulate key industries and professions.
The Governor and Lieutenant Governor are always seeking qualified and diverse individuals who are passionate about using their knowledge, skills, and lived experiences to serve the state of Minnesota. There is a position for everyone, and the Walz-Flanagan Administration encourages applications from all Minnesotans with a desire to serve their state.
