Investing in Communities

The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) provides financing and technical assistance to help communities build public infrastructure that protects public health and the environment and promotes economic growth.

The PFA administers and oversees the financial management of three revolving loan funds and other programs that help local units of government construct facilities for clean water, drinking water, and transportation infrastructure projects.

Announcements

2020 Clean Water and Drinking Water Revolving Funds - Deadline March 30, 2020

The 2020 application deadline for local governments to submit Clean Water Revolving Fund (CWRF) and Drinking Water Revolving Fund (DWRF) loan applications to the Public Facilities Authority (PFA) is March 30, 2020. This deadline applies to projects listed on the PFA’s 2020 Intended Use Plans that are planning to start construction in 2020.

Given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges it presents for all of us, the PFA recognizes that it may be difficult for cities and other local governments to fully meet this deadline with complete application submittals. As described in the attachment, the PFA will consider partial application submittals received by March 30, 2020 to have met the deadline.
