February 8th from 9 AM - 2 PM, the first half of this event will be at the state capitol and it will finish up at Patrick Henry High School. For the last 5 years Patrick Henry High School has hosted 100 Black Men Strong, an event that allows young black males at Patrick Henry, the opportunity to connect with black men in the community who are well into their careers or pursuing post-secondary education.

With the current state of politics in the United States, it important for young people to see their role in society and how politics impact them; so the young black men of PHHS along with staff invite black men in the community to stand in solidarity on Friday, February 8th 2019 at the capitol. If you are a black male in college or a working professional, join us on February 8th. In order to participate, all volunteers must fill out The 100 Black Men Strong Registration Form. Please contact Quinton Bonds with any questions at Quinton.bonds@mpls.k12.mn.us
