All Minnesota PT and PTA licenses expired on December 31, 2024. You must have an active license to practice as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant in Minnesota. Practice under a non-renewed credential is basis for discipline under MS 148.75 (a) (18). Any practice after December 31, 2024, will be looked at as practicing without a license until your license has been renewed for 2025

Biennial Reports

The Board is required to submit a report to the legislature every two years that provides summary data about the Board’s activities, including information about the number of people licensed and information about complaints submitted to the Board, among other things.  The following links provide access to recent Biennial Reports filed by the Board:
