The mission of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry is to promote and protect public health and safety; and ensure every licensed dental professional practicing in the state meets the requirements for safe, competent and ethical practice.

Announcement

The Board of Dentistry announced that Bridgett Anderson, Executive Director, has resigned effective today. We appreciate Bridgett’s service and contributions during their tenure with the agency.

The Board will begin the process of identifying new leadership to support our ongoing mission of protecting the public and ensure continuity of operations.

In the interim, please reach out to Joyce Nelson (joyce.nelson@state.mn.us) if you have questions. We hope to identify an interim director early next week and will post the executive director position.

The Board of Dentistry remains committed to delivering high‑quality service to the public and maintaining the highest standards of accountability and professionalism.

Be Cautious and Aware of Scam Artists Posing as Staff and/or Law Enforcement Agents

Scam callers have the ability to program caller ID to show as the MN Board of Dentistry along with the Board's legitimate phone number. Board staff will NOT contact you by telephone indicating you are the subject of a complaint or investigation; your license has been suspended; or demand money or personal information such as social security numbers, birth dates or prescribing numbers.

If you believe a caller could be the Board but are unsure, please take a name, hang up, and call the Board yourself. Do not use alternative phone numbers given by the caller in question. Legitimate Board staff will gladly provide a name and allow you to call back. Call the Board of Dentistry at 612-617-2250 and choose "0".
