Board Members
Mark Roszkowski, DDS
Mark Roszkowski, DDS was appointed by Governor Walz to the Board February 12, 2025. Dr. Roszkowski completed his undergraduate degree in Wisconsin and moved to Minnesota in 1987 where he graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and earned a PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota. After completing his residency and graduate school, he moved to Texas, where he served as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During his academic career, he had the opportunity to train oral surgery residents and participate in clinical and basic science research on the mechanisms of pain and post-operative inflammation. He transitioned from academic to private practice in 2002. Dr. Roszkowski is currently a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and CEO of South Suburban Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, with four clinics south of the Twin Cities. Dr. Roszkowski replaces Dr. Angela Rake on the Board.Samuel E. Ankrah, MPA
Samuel E. Ankrah, MPA was appointed by Governor Walz, and Lieutenant Governor Flanagan on February 23, 2024, as a public member. He is replacing Ruth Dahl. Mr. Ankrah is a Small Business Contracting Specialist with The Minnesota Department of Transportation, Office of Civil Rights. He attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where he attained Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with minors in International Business, and Economics, and Master of Arts in Public Administration.Mr. Ankrah was appointed by Governor Dayton, and Lieutenant Governor Smith to serve on the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice, and was reappointed by Governor Walz, and Lieutenant Governor Flanagan for a second term as a public member. Mr. Ankrah is very passionate about advancing equity, including promoting health equity in under-served communities.
Trina Courtright, DH, ADT
Frederick "Rick" Nolting, DDS
Rick Nolting, DDS was appointed to the Minnesota Board of Dentistry by Governor Walz in March 2023. He grew up in Edina-Morningside, MN. He graduated from Edina-Morningside High School. Dr. Nolting earned his Bachelors, Dental degree (DDS) and Master’s degree from The University of Minnesota. He taught at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for several years until returning to private practice in MN. He was in private practice in Minneapolis and owned a practice in Byron MN for many years. He now practices in Rochester and Byron, MN . He is married to Norma and they have two sons. Their son Erick is a dentist in Alexandria MN and their son Andrew owns an internet business in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. They have two granddaughters, Ayla and Amelia. Dr. Nolting replaces Dr. Klampe on the Board.Linda Gustafson
Linda Gustafson of Minnetonka was previously a Licensed Physical Therapist and during the past 30 plus years has worked in a variety of settings across the healthcare continuum. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota. She has previously served on the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy and has a strong interest in public protection. Ms. Gustafson was appointed to the board as a public member in June 2023.Ashley K. The Minnesota Board of Dentistry would like to welcome Jodie Quinn LDA, FADAA, as our new LDA member of the Board!
She is a Licensed Dental Assistant and DAANCE-certified anesthesia assistant with more than 30 years of experience in clinical dentistry, education, and healthcare leadership. She serves as Public Relations and Marketing Manager for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Consultants, leading outreach, continuing education, and professional engagement.
Her background includes extensive experience in oral surgery, dental implants, and sedation workflows. She is also an American Heart Association–certified CPR instructor and owner of Twin Cities CPR Training. With her various roles in the dental community, she brings strong clinical expertise, a commitment to patient safety, and a dedication to advancing excellence in oral healthcare.
Laurie Goldenberg, DDS, MD
The Minnesota Board of Dentistry would like to welcome newly appointed Board member, Laurie Goldenberg, D.D.S., M.D!
She is a dually licensed, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in private practice with Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 1996.
Dr. Goldenberg earned her D.D.S. from Indiana University and her M.D. from the University of Missouri. She completed her residency and internship at Truman Medical Center–University of Missouri–Kansas City. She is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia, and a member of several professional organizations. She has held a clinical appointment at the University of Minnesota, lectured on patient safety and risk management, serves as a CPR instructor, and is an Anesthesia Board Examiner.
Dr. Goldenberg is appointed to the dentist position held by Hassan Ismail, DDS, FAGD for the past 8 years! Many thanks to Dr. Ismail for his tireless dedication and service to the Board!
