Active-Duty Military, Veterans and Spouses
Active-duty military, recently active-duty military, veterans, and spouses are eligible for some or all of the following benefits:
1. Examination Reimbursement for Veterans
Veterans from any state can be reimbursed by the Department of Veterans Affairs up to $2,000 for CPA Exam costs. You may apply through the VA website.

2. Educational Financial Assistance for Spouses
Spouses of active-duty service members can receive up to $4,000 in financial assistance through the Department of Defense for CPA education and the CPA Exam.
3. Temporary Military CPA Certificate
Active-duty or recently active-duty military personnel and their spouses who hold a CPA license in good standing in another state may apply for expedited temporary licensure in Minnesota. Please see the application form for more information:
