The Data Practices Office and Department of Administration need your help with improving the administrative rules implementing the Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1205. We are seeking your feedback on ways to update and clarify these rules. To aid in that process, we drafted the initial, informal proposal linked below. These proposed changes represent a starting point for discussion and revision. We will review comments and incorporate suggestions as we go forward. At this point in the process, you may submit feedback multiple times or in one submission. There will be additional opportunities to provide formal comments during the official comment period published in the State Register.
