IT Professional Technical Programs

Professional Services Programs

The Office of MNIT Services in partnership with the Department of Administration manage a variety of Professional Technical Contract Programs that bring customers and vendors together. The co-managed programs are listed below.

Programs Description
MNSITE The MNSITE (Minnesota Seeking IT Expertise) Program serves as a preferred procurement method for State of Minnesota agencies and other local units of government to secure vendors to provide highly-skilled consultants via a fast and intuitive process. This program is for IT-related professional services and is not a contract for hardware, software, or hosting services.
ASAP-IT The ASAP-IT Program has been replaced by the MNSITE Program. Please refer to the MNSITE Program for requesting new work.
SITE Program The SITE master contract program has been replaced by the MNSITE Program. Please refer to the MNSITE Program for requesting new work.
Junior Talent Outreach The State of Minnesota's Department of Administration and Minnesota IT (MN.IT) have implemented the Information Technology Junior Talent Outreach, Mentoring, and Development Master Contract Program.  This program focuses on the recruitment of individuals from traditionally overlooked and underrepresented populations, who are presently looking for their first employment opportunity post-training or coursework.  This program is currently expected to run until October, 2020.

The programs listed here are just some of the avenues available for P/T work. Other avenues for accomplishing P/T work (customers) or other opportunities to bid on contract work (vendors) can be found on the Department of Administration's Office of State Procurement website. For a tool to help navigate which contracting mechanism is right for your situation, please refer to the OSP Decision Tree.
