LoginMN resolves email notification regarding identity verification failure
On April 1, 2026, the LoginMN team identified that a small number of constituents, who did not pass IAL2 identity verification, received emails containing outdated information. This issue was limited in scope and did not affect other LoginMN users. We resolved the issue, and all email templates and configurations have been updated to ensure accurate messaging going forward.

Identity verification
If you are required to provide manual identity verification (when LoginMN cannot verify your identity remotely), you will see a message on your screen when you’re attempting identity verification, and an email will be sent to the email address that you have registered with LoginMN.
To complete identity verification in person:
- Visit one of the deputy registrar offices below. Only these designated locations provide manual identity verification in person for LoginMN.
- • Bring with you the email sent from LoginMN (either a printed copy or on your mobile phone) and the required documents listed in the email that are needed for verification.
