Why should I attend?

If you’re unfamiliar with Results-Based Accountability (RBA), or you want a refresher, RBA Essentials is for you.

This course is a shortened introduction to RBA—a framework that uses data to measure and improve performance at the population and program levels. RBA can help you communicate clearly and showcase the specific, measurable contributions of your program or initiative, and demonstrate how those efforts tie in to broader conditions of well-being for the community. RBA asks three questions to shed light on the effort and results of agencies and programs:

  • How much did we do?
  • How well did we do it?
  • Is anyone better off?

What will I learn?

Participants will become familiar with the main concepts of RBA, including how to identify populations, results, and indicators, develop program performance measures and “turn-the-curve” performance improvement plans, and share results-based stories of a program’s contribution to population results.
