[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz today signed a bipartisan bill into law that clarifies state statute around licensed midwives’ ability to obtain medications they use within the scope of their practice.

Chapter 77, Senate File 3546 clarifies existing statute to state that licensed traditional midwives may obtain and possess medications within the scope of their practice.
