Governor Walz, Lieutenant Governor Flanagan Announce Appointments

[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan today announced the following appointments to the Board of the Perpich Center for Arts Education, Governor’s Task Force on Broadband, Governor’s Workforce Development Board, Psychedelic Medicine Task Force, and a task force studying the aiding and abetting felony murder doctrine.

The Governor’s Task Force on Broadband advises the executive and legislative branches on broadband policy, including strategies for successfully achieving the state broadband goals, comprehensive assessment of digital inclusion issues and gaps, and strategies for unlocking the benefits of universal access to broadband for all communities in Minnesota.

About the Governor’s Workforce Development Board:
The Governor’s Workforce Development Board assists the Governor in developing, implementing, and modifying the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Combined State Plan. It also reviews statewide policies and programs, provides recommendations on actions to improve the workforce development system and programs, and develops strategies to remove barriers to those programs, among other duties.
