Governor Walz, Lieutenant Governor Flanagan Announce Appointments

[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan today announced the following appointments to the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, Board of School Administrators, and Commission on Judicial Selection.

About the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice:

The Board of Occupational Therapy Practice adopts and enforces rules and laws, issues licenses to qualified individuals, assesses and collects fees for the issuance and renewal of licenses, educates the public about the requirements for licensing occupational therapy practitioners, educates occupational therapy practitioners about the rules of conduct, and enables the public to file complaints against applicants and licensees.

The Board of School Administrators is responsible for the licensing of nearly 7,000 superintendents, principals, directors of special education, and directors of community education. The board is also charged with approving university preparation programs for school administrators, establishing and approving continuing education requirements, and enforcing the Code of Ethics.
