Walz, Flanagan Announce Appointments

[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan today announced the following appointments to the Advisory Council on Interstate Adult Offender Supervision; Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board; Commission of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing; Council on Disability; Governor’s Workforce Development Board; Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Board of Directors; and State Advisory Council for Interstate Supervision of Juvenile Offenders and Runaways.

About the Advisory Council on Interstate Adult Offender Supervision:

The Advisory Council on Interstate Adult Offender Supervision oversees and administers the state’s participation in the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision. The council’s duties include appointing the compact administrator as the state’s commissioner to the Interstate Commission and developing a model policy concerning the operations and procedures of the compact within the state.

About the State Advisory Council for Interstate Supervision of Juvenile Offenders and Runaways:

The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is a multi-state agreement that provides the procedural means to regulate the movement across state lines of juveniles who are under court supervision or need to be returned to their home states as runaways, escapees, absconders, or juvenile delinquents. The State Advisory Council for Interstate Supervision of Juvenile Offenders and Runaways oversees and administers Minnesota’s participation in the compact.
