$200 travel voucher drawing one of several incentives to encourage Minnesotans to get their shot; Minnesotans getting their COVID-19 shot at Terminal 2 at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport through September 22 will be entered into a drawing for a $200 travel voucher through Sun Country Airlines

Today, Governor Tim Walz announced the extension of the vaccine incentive partnership with Sun Country Airlines encouraging Minnesotans to roll up their sleeves and get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Minnesotans who get their Johnson & Johnson vaccine at MSP Airport’s Terminal 2 through September 22 can enter into a weekly drawing for a $200 travel voucher through Sun Country Airlines. A new winner has been drawn every week since the program launched on July 1.
“Whether you are traveling or not, the vaccine is the ticket to protecting your family from COVID-19,” said Governor Walz. “Getting the safe, free, and effective shot is vital to slowing the spread of COVID-19. That’s why we are continuing our work at Terminal 2 to meet Minnesotans where they are by helping them to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Keep rolling up those sleeves, Minnesota.”
“Getting fully vaccinated is the biggest step you can take to ensure you and your family are safe, either on your trip or here at home,” said Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. “The time is now to join your fellow Minnesotans and get your shot to help protect yourself and your community from COVID-19.”
The “Safe Travels, Minnesota” program is one of several incentives the Walz-Flanagan Administration has launched to encourage Minnesotans to get their COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, anyone who receives a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while visiting the Minnesota State Fair can receive a $100 Visa gift card immediately upon vaccination. That program comes after a successful statewide program to provide $100 Visa gift cards to newly vaccinated Minnesotans. Nearly 80,000 Minnesotans register for that reward.
The one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is being administered at Terminal 2 before security checkpoints. Minnesotans must be 18 or over to receive the shot and enter the drawing. This opportunity is open to the general public. No boarding pass or appointment are required. Undrawn entries do not rollover into subsequent weeks. The Terminal 2 vaccination site is located at 7150 Humphrey Drive and is open every day from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking vouchers are available at the MSP Terminal 2 community vaccination location. The vouchers are good for one hour of free parking to any patient visiting the Terminal 2 for the purpose of vaccination. Inquire with staff on site to receive your voucher.
