[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz today signed an Executive Order to reopen pools for lap swim and organized swim teams.

Beginning on Monday, January 4, 2021, pools may reopen for lap swim and organized sports activities as long as facilities follow social distancing requirements specific to pools in the guidance posted to the Stay Safe Minnesota website.

Executive Order 20-104 was approved by the Executive Council earlier this morning, and is effective immediately upon approval.
