PAUL, MN] – In accordance with a proclamation issued by the President, Governor Tim Walz has directed all flags at state buildings in Minnesota from today, Saturday, June 1^st to -sunset on Tuesday, June 4^th be flown at half-staff as a sign of respect for the victims of the shooting in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Friday, May 31st.

 “My heart is with the community of Virginia Beach,” Governor Walz said. “Minnesota grieves with those affected by this horrific act of violence.”
