[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz today issued Executive Order 24-08, continuing the Governor’s Committee on the Safety, Health, and Wellbeing of Agricultural and Food Processing Workers and updating the original executive order that established the committee.

“Minnesota’s agriculture and food processing workers work hard every day to put food on the table for families across the country,” said Governor Walz. “The health, safety, and wellbeing of these workers remains a priority and I’m grateful that the work will continue to ensure their voices are heard and address the challenges facing this industry.”

Executive Order 24-08 extends the existence of the committee and updates the membership and meeting requirements.
