Last night, Governor Tim Walz signed HF 5246 , which addresses the impact of U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Tyler v. Hennepin County.

The legislation allocates $109 million for parties impacted by a previous policy in which counties kept excess proceeds from the sale of forfeited land.
