INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION

1. Complete the application form, Fisheries Permit Application or Renewal Educational Fishing License Waiver for Students (electronically, if possible).
 
2. Send the completed application to fisheries.permits@state.mn.us
 
3. Completed applications will be reviewed by Division Fisheries. If there are questions or concerns you will be contacted. 
 
4. Early submission of your completed application is strongly advised. 
 
5. All fishing for students age 16 and older covered by this license exemption will be CATCH and RELEASE only. 
 
6. All adult chaperones will have a valid Minnesota fishing license. 
 
7. A list of each student participant age 16 or older must be available for inspection by any
