Contact MPCA Feedlot Program for details. Requirements are very simple regardless of size.

Registration once in every four year period as defined in Minn. Rules 7020.0350.

Registration is required for all feedlots with 50 animal units or more and located outside of shoreland, or with 10 animal units or more and located within shoreland. 

Submittal of a permit application covers the registration requirements. 

A county board may, by resolution, assume responsibility for administering the registration process as authorized by Minn. Stat. § 116.07, subd. 7.
