Special Product Permit permits the harvest of small quantities of decorative materials, boughs, gravel, hay, biomass, R-O-W timber to access a state timber sale, and miscellaneous forest products from state lands. The Special Fuelwood Permit permits the harvest of firewood for personal consumption only (maximum volume of 12 cords).

Cost of permit determined by value of products being sold. Minimum fee for these permits is $25.


Period of Issuance:

Special Product Permit - up to 1 year; Special Fuelwood Permit - up to 1 year, expires March 31 each year.


Length of Determination: Special Product and Special Fuelwood Permits require two days to two weeks, depending on local forester workload.
