License Renewal
Boarding Care Home licenses are renewed annually. Licensees will receive a renewal notification approximately 60-90 days prior to the expiration date of the license. If you do not receive a renewal notification within 30 days of to the expiration date,
please contact Health.HRD-FedLCR@state.mn.us.

Base fee - $183 plus $96 per licensed bed.
Period of Issuance:
Effective date through December 31. Renewal licenses run for a
calendar year.
Length of Determination: Applications should be submitted at least 90 days prior to the anticipated date of opening.
