Snowmobile manufacturers need to be licensed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources if snowmobiles are demonstrated, tested or researched.
A manufacturer's license is not necessary if snowmobiles are not in operation or use.
Manufacturers receive 1 license plate with their license.
Additional plates cost $4 per plate.
Manufacturer license is not transferable.
