Requirements:

A shooting preserve is a privately operated facility where protected wild birds released for shooting outside regularly established season and regulations. Private Shooting Preserves may be licensed only in Aitkin, Becker, Carlton, Cass, Crow Wing, Norman and Wadena counties, and in counties to the north of those counties. Licensee must have at least 40 contiguous acres and no more than 160 acres. No more than 300 adult pheasant may be released in a license year.
