National Data

Every state and U.S. territory has an Assistive Technology Act program that provides services to help people with disabilities obtain the assistive technology (AT) they need to succeed at home, school, work and in their communities.

Because these programs are federally-funded, AT Act programs must submit an annual report to the Administration for Community Living. This annual report includes information related to services provided, including the number of AT demonstrations and loans conducted and people served during the reporting year.

A summary of general data contained in the annual report is available on the Center for Assistive Technology Act Data Assistance website.
