At 3:15 pm Friday, December 12th, all electrical devices in the University Park Plaza Building where the Board office is located will be shut down and the building will be closed for electrical work. At the November 8, 2014 Board meeting, the Board adopted a Resolution extending the moratorium on investigating and taking action against licensees on the sole basis of prescribing or administering antibiotic therapy for “chronic Lyme disease.”
Governor Dayton and the MN Department of Health have released guidelines for monitoring recent travelers from Ebola-affected regions. The American Medical Association also compiled and released resource information for physicians on preparing practice settings and patients for potential Ebola exposures. Both sets of guidelines are consistent with guidance issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
