  May 08, 2013  —  2013 license online renewals for respiratory therapists, physician assistants, acupuncturists, athletic trainers, and traditional midwives will be available from May 16 to June 30, 2013.

  February 07, 2013  —  The Medical Practice Act work group was created by the 2012 Minnesota Legislature. The group’s task was to ensure the Medical Practice Act (the Act) “effectively protects the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state and allows transparency.”
• Legislative Auditor Report of special investigation of the Board of Medical Practice
  
  November 27, 2012  —  During the 2012 legislative session, the Board of Medical Practice was one of many State Agencies under review by the Sunset Advisory Commission. At the conclusion of the commission’s hearings, the chair and vice chair of the Sunset Advisory Commission requested that the Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) conduct an evaluation of the Board of Medical Practice.
