Requirements:
To use the Minnesota Grown logo, people who grow, raise or process an agricultural product must receive an annual license from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA). To be labeled Minnesota Grown, at least 80% of a product must be grown or raised in Minnesota.
Retailers such as grocery stores and restaurants are allowed to use the logo on eligible items without a license.
License holders (also called members) receive additional marketing benefits and can opt-in to advertise their businesses in the Minnesota Grown directory for an additional fee ($40 per listing per year).
