Mission Statement

The EJBC has a vision to lead the state of Minnesota strategic intent to champion inclusive workplace. To enhance state government culture where management practices, human resource policies, including mental health and economic well-being supports the stability that values the experiences, contributions, advancement of black employees to invest, promote and prepare those and all workplaces in Minnesota.

We are committed to creating a safe space for open dialogue, and let everyone’s views be heard. As well as learn from each other’s experiences.  

Here you will have an open and honest conversations on Equity, Race, Culture, and More. All are encourage to participate in the discussion. For real change, there needs to be real conversation. Then after the conversation it will be up to you with what you do with the knowledge you are given and learned from each session. If you cannot join in the meeting, you will be able to follow along with the chat..

These conversations will also vary between guest speakers, videos, documentaries, and current events.

Each session will be different topics. Different views from different perspectives. 

We are all in this together no matter who you identify as, no matter you race, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. We do not have freedom, if we don’t have power.

Funky Town Fridays

Music brings us together, no matter how apart we are. Join us every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. We’ll broadcast a mix of tunes as you wrap up your week and help you get your weekend off to a fun and funky start.
