Join us on Friday, June 21st, for an empowering and insightful retreat hosted by the Black, Indigenous, Women of Color (BIWOC) ERG. This event aims to delve into intersectional identities and celebrate the diverse experiences within our State. The retreat will feature three engaging workshops guided by esteemed facilitators.

Sook Jin Ong, the Co-Director of the Reclaiming Our Own Time (ROOT) program at Nexus Community Partners, will lead one of the workshops. Sook Jin brings knowledge and experience to advocate for social and racial justice.

Additionally, we are honored to have Cratè Darden, BIWOC Co-chair, and Andrea Pérez-Maikkula, BIWOC Champion, as facilitators. Their unique and inspiring perspectives, along with their dedication to amplifying BIWOC's voices, make them essential contributors to our retreat.

This event promises to provide a safe dialogue, learning, and growth space. We encourage all BIWOC to join us and participate in this important conversation.
