Introducing the Parents at Work Employee Resource Group

The enterprise Parents at Work Employee Resource Group (ERG) is launching in March. This ERG is intended to provide working parents and their allies with a supportive community dedicated to connection, inspiration, and meaningful skill-building resources. For expecting parents, empty nesters, and every stage in between, this group will help state employees balance work and family life while fostering personal and professional development.

Mission

The Parents at Work ERG creates a welcoming environment where working parents can thrive. The group’s focus is on building a sense of inclusion and belonging while supporting growth and retention across the workplace.

This community will be a resource for working parents to find inspiration, share insights, and grow both personally and professionally. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to connect and develop within a supportive community.

Get Involved

The first meeting of the Parents at Work ERG is scheduled for Thursday, March 20 at 11:50 a.m. This virtual event will provide an opportunity to meet other members, share experiences, and discuss the group’s goals and activities.
